Description We are in search of a Data Analyst to join our team in the venture capital domain, situated in New York. As a Data Analyst, your function will center around assisting our team in maintaining intercompany accounts, handling credit card transactions, and managing Accounts Payable/Receivable. You will also be tasked with preparing datasets, performing detailed reviews, and resolving any discrepancies. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist in intercompany accounting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage credit card transactions, maintaining a high level of organization and detail. Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Handle invoice and billing tasks, guaranteeing all transactions are accurately recorded. Prepare and manage complex datasets, providing detailed reviews and data cleansing as necessary. Utilize Microsoft Excel and SQL to generate and maintain accurate analytical datasets. Resolve discrepancies in data and accounts, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Generate journal entries and reports, providing accurate and timely information for decision making.
