Con Edison, a multibillion-dollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County. We are investing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, support electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and scale adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies across our customers

This is a great role to demonstrate your ability to drive results, demonstrate application of cross-disciplinary skills to the clean energy space and gain firsthand experience with the clean energy transition

The E-Mobility Sr. Specialist is responsible for ensuring that infrastructure and operational incentive program teams comply with regulatory data reporting requirements, particularly related to third-party data

Support multiple program teams to ensure that Con Edison's E-Mobility incentive programs, including EV charging, micromobility charging, and operating cost relief programs, are compliant with all Public Service Commission data reporting requirements

Work across program teams to develop processes and procedures around data acquisition, data integrity, compliance, and internal & external data reporting

Act as primary liaison with the Company's third-party data aggregator for infrastructure incentive programs that require usage data reporting on all installed projects

Communicate with program participants and third-party aggregator to validate data

Work with program teams to identify gaps in data collection processes or tools and identify solutions

Support implementation of improvements to E-Mobility platform functionality to take in and report on third-party data

Lead data upload cycle with third-party data aggregator for the infrastructure incentive programs

Responsible for monthly and semi-annual/annual reporting for the Company's EV operational cost relief incentive programs to internal and regulatory stakeholders

May support EV operational cost relief incentive program QA/QC functions and data standardization initiatives

Build dashboards and reports to monitor regulatory compliance; provide meaningful reporting to internal stakeholders on a regular basis

Support cross-functional technology and business communications and collaboration between multiple Con Edison organizations

Work effectively and lead cross-functional teams responsible for new department initiatives as they arise

Provide problem solving and strategic support to the department

Represent the Company's interests to internal and external stakeholders as needed

Perform other related tasks and assignments as required

Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations

This is a hybrid in-office role with 3 days a week in the office at Con Edison's Union Square headquarters in Manhattan

Required Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in IT, data analysis, finance, accounting, engineering, energy, or sustainability disciplines and 3 years utility or other business work experience in program efficiency and operations Experience with Salesforce and Power BI reports on program metrics

Master's Degree in IT, energy, or sustainability disciplines

Relevant Work Experience

Demonstrated ability to organize, validate, and present complex data sets Required

Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, who have a diverse set of experiences and approaches, in order to drive business results Required

Demonstrated organizational capabilities and successful management of detailed, complex initiatives Required

Demonstrated agility and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Required

Experience with electric vehicle charging Preferred

Experience with Salesforce Preferred

Experience with Power BI Preferred

Experience with Python Preferred

Experience overseeing IT projects Preferred

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred

Strong communication, presentation, writing, and analytical skills Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Driver's License Required

Other Physical Demands

Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.

Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
