The Role We have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer Intern for our Protective Design & Security Practice. The Structural Engineer Intern will primarily focus on blast analysis and design work and will also likely be exposed to several different aspects of protective design & security such as progressive collapse, site perimeter security, and operational security. ResponsibilitiesWith oversight and training from project managers, perform blast load and response calculations for structural and building enclosure systems. Develop calculation packages as well as written narratives to summarize work completed. Develop structural and building enclosure details and drawings. QualificationsAll candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance. Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in structural engineering. Excellent academic record. CompensationThe rate for this position generally is$25-$31hourly.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law.
