Description We are looking for a diligent Financial Analyst for a short term contract employment opportunity in New York. This role is primarily within the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, and will involve working closely with the Revenue Operations team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in data clean up projects and will be required to work on-site.Responsibilities: Carry out thorough data validation by examining contracts and ensuring data is correctly populated. Utilize Salesforce platform to manage and streamline data-related tasks. Engage in account reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with the Revenue Operations team to facilitate smooth data clean up projects. Execute 'ticking and tying' tasks to ascertain data accuracy. Resolve any issues or discrepancies in data by liaising with relevant departments. Continuously monitor customer accounts and take necessary action where required. Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and manipulate data for reporting purposes. Follow given instructions and work autonomously to keep project costs down. Adapt quickly to different versions of Salesforce, including Vivvix, MR, and Canadian Salesforce entity. Requirements Proficiency in using Salesforce Platform Skilled in account reconciliation processes Experience with contract management and negotiation Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team High level of accuracy and attention to detail Understanding of financial regulations and legislation Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
