Job Title: Geotechnical EngineerOpportunity for long term growth with a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management servicesJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work from 7 AM to 3 PM primarily in the field, with occasional office work as needed. Responsibilities include performing field work, assisting with the preparation of geotechnical reports, logging test borings, test pits, and other subsurface explorations, and collaborating with contractors on site. You will also handle acquiring supplies when necessary.Must Have:
2 - 5 years experience in Geotechnical Engineering
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Instrumentation and construction support
Logging test borings, test pits, and other subsurface explorations
Preparation of geotechnical reports
Valid driver's license
Nice to Have:
OSHA 10
AutoCAD
Responsibilities:
Assigned job ahead of time from Project Manager
Perform field work and office work as needed
Assist with preparation of geotechnical reports
Log test borings, test pits, and other subsurface explorations
Work with contractors on site who are installing wells and instruments or a bulk head on the waterfront
Get supplies if needed
