Grants Manager

Job Title: Grants Manager Opportunity to work with a global non-profit organization that is dedicated to addressing the aftermath of severe human rights violations. This non-profit works tirelessly across borders to uphold victims’ dignity, combat impunity, and foster institutions that respond to the needs of affected communities. With a focus on transitional justice, this organization plays a crucial role in promoting accountability and reconciliation worldwide. Location: Manhattan - DowntownThe Grants Manager will be responsible for allocating, tracking, and reporting on both international and domestic donor funds. Key duties include managing administrative details of grants, maintaining the donor database, preparing reports and budgets, and interfacing with the Finance department.Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain all active grants and related coding.

Develop fiscal year and individual grant budgets.

Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with grant agreements.

Communicate with HQ and country office staff on financial matters.

Track grant expenditures and maintain budget reports.

Assist with fund allocation and financial analysis for proposals.

Support country offices during audits and manage grant-related expenses.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.

Minimum of three years of experience in grants administration.

Proficiency with accounting software and general ledger analysis.

Strong financial analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Experience with international grants is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
