Together, we’ll continue to create and deliver content that reflects the current and ever-changing face of the world.You will be responsible for tracking commercial inventory, coordinating internal sales processes with Account Service Representatives & Planners, and working closely with inventory counterparts to ensure maximum revenue and value in our NBC Golf & Golf Channel programming.There is a heavy emphasis on enforcing exclusivities and advising Account Service Representatives on how to flight plans & make good pre-empts to best optimize available linear commercial inventory in order to deliver specific property P&L goals.You will be required to develop strong working relationships with the sales, sales operations, marketing, programming, and finance teams to ensure maximum usage and placement.Duties and Responsibilities
Manage effects of programming changes, deal changes, and shifts through guidance and systems approval queue.
Monitor deal stewardship reports and execution of Recap/ADU packages to fill upcoming avails, including referencing C-Suite for deals guaranteed with digital.
Working with planners & Account Service Representatives to obtain double box approvals/assets & flipping inventory to DBOX to align with our formats
Provides ASRs with strategic pre-empt make good solutions
Assist inventory manager in creating, tracking, & maintaining our “deal point” documents
Providing sales with most up to date golf plan building guide, avails, & programming information
Maintain and manage reports for Sales and Planning on a routine and ad hoc basis
Sports sponsorship and invoice adjustment workflow approvals
System maintenance (i.e log checks, selling name creation, scoping, etc)
Assisting the League Partnership Specialists (PGA, LPGA, USGA, etc) with entitlement deal maintenance
Routine meetings with Manager to discuss pending issues, resolve problems, and forecast inventory.
Must be available to work some weekends & later on Fridays. Need to be available the weeks of major golf events (i.e US Open, R&A, President’s Cup, & Ryder Cup).
Keep abreast of industry news via trades to increase and strengthen knowledge of Ad Sales and get a general/broad understanding of industry, including relevant sports properties.
Four year degree or equivalent experience
1+ year Sales Planner or2+ years of Sales Assistant experience in media ad sales;Sports experience is a plus
Expert understanding of Media Math
Strong Analytical problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired Characteristics
Prior experience in Sales or Planning with a career interest in Strategic Planning
Excellent computer skills, demonstrated analytical ability and organizational/project management skills
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (Intermediate Level)
