We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Investment Management Operations responsibile for ensuring all day to day tasks are complete and accurate, address questions and concerns from the trading desk and escalating unresolved issues.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. Read on…What you’ll do in the role: Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes
Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognize risks and draw out key issues
Coordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation, and project contribution
Resolve trade fails, settlement issues, updates and support
Monitor trading dashboard to insure all trades flow down properly. Collaborate with IT and work on projects as necessary
Responsible for representation of accurate cash and position and break resolution
Manage communication with Traders, Back Office, Reconciliation Teams, Brokers and Custodians to ensure that all trades and cash is represented and settling correctly
Address Investment Team concerns and queries and function as the main point of contact for the Liquidity trading desk
Manage all escalation and communication for all ETF trade issueWhat you’ll bring to the role: Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities

Strong organizational skills and an orientation toward strict attention to detail
Proven record of collaborating with colleagues across geographic and functional boundaries
Candidate should be a solid team player as well as possess the ability to work on their own initiative
At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Working knowledge of baskets, cash and position reconciliations, ETF trade lifecycle
