Description Robert Half is looking for a Java Developer to work with engineers, QA, Product, and Data departments to continuously improve the Financial Advisor Funnel experience and build new features to best serve our users and customers. This is a contract role 100% remote and working hours will be EST.Key Responsibilities
Apply your knowledge of software development to design, implement, and deliver solutions in collaboration with other engineers and our product team.
Support and improve the services and backend APIs that facilitate our Financial Advisor Funnel frontend experience.
Design efficient solutions for new instrumentation, monitoring, and product features in collaboration with the team’s staff engineer.
Requirements
Required Skills
Strong Java skills with 7+ years of experience.
Experience building Java web applications using the Spring Boot framework
At least basic knowledge of building web applications with CSS, Javascript, and HTML.
Proficient with SQL, including the ability to write it, debug it, and query with it.
Experience with AWS cloud services and proficiency in learning and integrating new services
Knowledge of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience with Git or other version control tools
