Description We are actively seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in New York, New York. This role is in the fashion industry and offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for handling both accounts payable and receivable, conducting account analysis and reconciliation, and managing collections from clients. You will also be tasked with utilizing various accounting software systems and ERP solutions.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable and receivable functions accurately and promptly. Conduct detailed account analysis and reconciliation. Manage collections from clients using effective communication via email and phone. Maintain accurate accounting entries and records. Utilize various accounting software systems and ERP solutions for efficient and accurate accounting processes. Ensure all account coding is performed correctly. Use Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV in the performance of duties. Assist with other accounting functions as necessary. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required. Demonstrable knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is necessary. Must be adept at using Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Dynamics NAV is highly desirable. Familiarity with ERP Solutions is a must. Ability to perform Account Analysis is needed. Must have the skills to execute Accounting Entries accurately. Understanding of all basic Accounting Functions is required. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
