Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Hospitality industry based in New York. The role involves a range of accounting duties within a private real estate firm, including managing payables and receivables, conducting bank reconciliations, and overseeing payroll operations. It also requires the use of Yardi software. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable process Handle all matters related to accounts payable Conduct thorough bank reconciliations Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries Oversee payroll operations for a substantial number of employees Execute month-end close procedures efficiently Utilize Yardi software for various accounting operations.
