For more information visit our website at www.simonandschuster.com. The Junior Associate Producer will support producers in all aspects of audiobook production. Excellent writing & communications skills are essential, as is a love of books & audio. The AP assists producers in the production of all S&S’s audiobooks, including preparation for recording sessions, script review, research and pronunciations, and arrangements with authors and actors. The AP also serves as back-up to producers during sessions, as well as during the post-production process. Within a short period of time, he/she/they should be able to stand in for a producer as script editor, director or post-production supervisor when needed. The AP will also be involved in casting, the coordination of manuscripts, credits and studio scheduling. Onsite support of recording sessions at S&S is frequently required. College degree and and some publishing or creative production experience is necessary. Must be proficient with computers, both Macs and PCs, database programs, Excel, Acrobat, and file formatting.
