Lead, Ad Sales – Digital Systems & Services

DIRECTV is seeking a Digital Systems & Services Lead for our Ad Sales Organization to provide organization-wide technical services for digital ad systems setup, testing, and support services. In this role, the Lead will be accountable for the quality assurance associated with setting up digital supply and demand implementations.Here’s what you’ll do:

Directly responsible for the successful implementation and adoption of new technologies and integrations through formal testing procedures and hands on adjustment/implementation of requested AdServer changes and integrated platforms.

Holistically understand business problems and requirements of DIRECTV’s digital business; Develop, implement, and manage platform/inventory quality assurance processes for digital ad products.

Design data driven, digital advertising solutions based on client goals, priorities, and needs within existing systems infrastructure.

Support the standardization efforts for analytics, reporting, and data pipeline across order management platforms, ad servers, supply side platforms, demand side platforms, RTB, and viewability and measurement providers.

Partner with Product and Engineering to manage the backlog, prioritization, and delivery of tools, features, and system updates that our digital ad systems are dependent on.

Serve as subject matter expert in programmatic ad tech – header bidding, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges, ad networks, agency trading desks, and viewability/fraud providers.

Design, implement, coordinate, and rollout processes with internal teams; ensure system performance/implementation standards and adherence to defined procedures.

Provide deep technical support for DIRECTV’s digital advertising infrastructure and management of system updates.

Coordinate across the systems and services team to ensure all impacted teams and procedures are followed and accounted for.

Monitor system and integration health across system integrations and proactively resolve potential issues.

Holistically understand business problems and requirements of DIRECTV’s digital business.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, preferred.

3+ years of experience working in AdTech or related businesses.

Solid understanding and experience with programmatic ad tech – header bidding, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges, ad networks, agency trading desks, and measurement/viewability providers.

Proven track record of troubleshooting and supporting digital advertising teams and systems.
