And we’ll do it with the utmost integrity, and in an environment where everyone is seen, heard and feels like they belong.Join Team Amex and let's lead the way together.The American Express Corporate Affairs & Communications (CA&C) team is a strategic function that works to enhance and protect the continued strength of the American Express brand through public relations, social media and content, colleague communications and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.How will you make an impact in this role?This position supports Corporate Affairs & Communication’s (CA&C) adherence to the Third Party Lifecycle Management (TLM) program, our company’s framework to prevent and mitigate third-party risk.Responsibilities include:

Work closely with CA&C’s Third Party Relationship Managers (TRMs), Global Supply Management (GSM), TLM Center of Excellence (TLM COE), Third party Information Security Team (TSM) and other subject matter risk experts to complete third party risk assessment questionnaires and other risk/mitigating controls documentation.

Monitor CA&C’s Process Unity dashboards, identifying certain ongoing monitoring activities and open gaps for timely closure; communicate deliverables to TRMs and guide them as necessary.

Monitor CA&C’s TLM engagement inventory (report) and ensure ongoing data cleanliness.

Create and maintain certain standard operating procedures for our team. Identify process deficiencies and control weaknesses and provide recommendations on solutions to best mitigate them.

Review monthly TLM control & compliance report and prepare monthly update to director.

Review AEMP30 reports (application management) and work with director and American Express Technologies to ensure adherence to the policy and maintain accuracy of CA&C data in Central database.

Monitor Third Party Security Overwatch (TPSO) dashboard and escalate adverse scores.

Work with TRMs to follow through on offboarding process for all CA&C third party engagements as necessary.

Other responsibilities as needed to support our department on TLM program requirements and other aspects of third party risk.

Qualifications

Experience in Third Party Management/Risk, Information Security Management, Operational Risk, and/or Compliance, ideally in more than one of these disciplines.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including collaborating and influencing abilities with proven ability to operate successfully across matrix organization and without direct authority

Clear, effective written and oral communication skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization and strong organizational, prioritization and collaboration skills.

Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and partner with stakeholders to deliver on shared objectives

Strong project and process management skills; Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously as well as frequent ad-hoc requests

An open and growth mindset with nimble learning agility to identify and drive new thinking

Ability to transform, adapt and evolve role with business needs

Bachelor's degree required

QualificationsEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
