Conduct thorough assessments of clients to gather information about their mental health, background, and treatment needs by conducting interviews, administering assessments, and formulating diagnoses. Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients by outlining goals, objectives, and interventions tailored to the client's specific needs and presenting issues. Deliver individual, group, or family therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Evaluate and monitor clients' progress throughout therapeutic process using various assessment tools to track outcomes and adjust treatment interventions as needed. Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines, including maintaining confidentiality, ensuring informed consent, and upholding professional boundaries. Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay updated with research, best practices, and treatment modalities. Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress notes. Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy. Refer patients, clients, and family members to community resources and specialists as necessary. Maintain licensure in good standing with the state of New York.Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. NYS licensure LMHCMinimum Salary: 60.00

Maximum Salary: 63.00
