job detailsWe are hiring for an Office Manager position for a client of ours in NYC. This is a fully on-site position, and will be long term temporary. This is an opportunity to grow your professional experience with an exciting and growing organization. Respond to employee inquiries related to office management, hardware, stationery, and other office-related requests

Prepare meeting spaces for executive meetings, including managing catering and logistical arrangements

Assist in setting up for in-office celebrations and events

Provide support to visitors, greeting and assisting them upon arrival

Ensure visiting staff have a smooth experience by offering personalized tours, sharing essential resources, and providing key office information ahead of their visit to enhance comfort and productivity

Organize food and refreshments for visitors and staff, as required, to create a welcoming atmosphere

Manage the office phone line, directing calls and taking messages as needed

Manage relationships with vendors responsible for office maintenance and cleanliness, including services for air conditioning, cleaning, security, catering, and other facility-related needs

Conduct weekly inspections of office cleanliness and arrange repairs as necessary

Oversee workplace safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe and compliant environment for all employees and visitors

Organize the office layout and manage an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely ordering of office and kitchen necessities

Maintain an inventory of equipment and plan for future acquisitions based on office needs

Oversee the restocking of snacks, beverages, and branded merchandise for employees
