Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a PC Technician in the IT Software industry located in New York. This role will involve providing IT support for a variety of tasks, with a focus on troubleshooting issues related to iPads, printers, and WiFi connections. Responsibilities: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application-related issues. Handle material independently and resolve printer and iPad hardware issues. Train users in the proper use of hardware or software. Configure and manage iPads and other related devices. Maintain and update the inventory of hardware and software. Provide basic support on connectivity or network-related issues. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective technical support. Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other systems. Perform regular checks and maintenance on technical equipment to ensure functionality. Document all technical inquiries and user issues, along with their respective solutions and troubleshooting steps. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a PC Technician in the IT Software industry Proficient with PC Skills including troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance Experience with Printer Hardware, including understanding of functionality and ability to perform basic repairs Familiarity with iPad usage and troubleshooting Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must have a proactive approach towards learning and adapting to new technologies An understanding of IT Software industry standards and best practices Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Proven track record of reliability and responsibility Must have a willingness to continually update skills and knowledge to keep up with rapid advancements in technology.
