Our approach is grounded in using data and technology to connect with real people across the full funnel, ensuring that Walmart’s investment in media is directly contributing to innovative marketing experiences, driving brand and business growth.OverviewRole of Content Team: Our award-winning Content Team is at the forefront of influencer marketing and custom content creation. We collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, digital investment, video, and creative teams alongside Walmart’s in-house teams to bring big ideas to life. We partner with agencies, networks, and influencers across multiple channels: livestream, affiliate, experiential, and social to ensure Walmart stays ahead in today’s fast-evolving media landscape. By connecting data-driven insights with creative storytelling, we deliver innovative, full-funnel marketing strategies that drive brand growth for Walmart.ResponsibilitiesThe Planner of Content & Influencer handles day-to-day project management execution of campaigns across various sectors of Walmart from Experiential Events, DEI/Multicultural, CPG, and more while reporting to a Supervisor, and supported by an Associate. Tasks include:

Liaison between PubW, vendors/agency partners, and Walmart clients

Provide support on the ideation, management, and dissemination of feedback for content, voicing best practices and relevant trends

Research potential partners and influencers to work with that fit campaign objectives

Assist in building presentation decks that showcase strategy and turn data results into compelling visual storytelling

Conduct outreach to new and existing partners to establish or maintain relationships

Support in influencer and content strategic recommendations, quality assurance, FTC compliance, performance monitoring, and data reporting

Draft and manage partnership SOWs and agreements

Qualifications

1+ years in media agency, influencer, content, social media, or marketing field

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) plus superior organization skills

Strong understanding of influencer/content strategy in retail and multicultural/inclusive marketing

Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent attention to detail

Strong client relations skills and ability to think strategically from a client’s perspective

Conceptual and forward-thinking: comfortable in an ambiguous environment and excited about inventing new ways of working and translating concepts into actionable plans

Highly collaborative team player capable of working across clients, partners, and internal teams

Self-starter who can independently drive projects

Eager to brainstorm new, creative approaches to campaigns

Analytical and curious with an ability to interpret data and make optimization recommendations

Keeps abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers

Experience on/with social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Snapchat

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
