About the Real Estate Services The Deloitte Real Estate Services team is within the Finance and Administration organization and is responsible for developing and executing the firm's real estate strategy. The Real Estate team serves in an internal capacity to deliver strategic real estate, facility management, and workplace solutions with quality and value, which foster collaboration, and support innovation while delivering on well-being and sustainability goals. The Real Estate team supports a portfolio of more than 160 workplaces in six countries.Work you will doThe Real Estate Services Workplace Portfolio Leader (WPL) is responsible for partnering with the office and business leaders of our 10 largest commercial offices to lead and deliver complex workplace design and construction projects which are aligned with the firm's overall real estate and workplace experience strategy. The role has significant fiscal responsibility as well as strict schedules driven by upcoming lease end dates and shifts in business strategies. The second area of responsibility of the role is to serve as a trusted business advisor to leaders who are responsible for innovation and specialty spaces - such as Greenhouse, Deloitte Digital, Smart Factory. The WPL role serves as a leader of the large cross disciplinary team required to deliver projects - teams include Transactions, Workplace Experience and Design, Program Management, Office Experience, Technology, and Security, plus outside partners such as architects and project managers.Key Responsibilities:

Participating on the Real Estate Services leadership team to define real estate strategy and ensure alignment with overall firm strategy. Contributing to the development of the Real Estate processes, best practices, and lessons learned.

Working closely with office managing partners and business leaders to understand their specific needs, translating, and communicating those needs to the real estate team to ensure the design/build/project meets the needs of the practice while still adhering to overall real estate strategy. Driving collaboration across the various disciplines on the real estate team to create and deliver innovative, forward thinking, sustainable, and energetic workplaces.

Establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships with Office of General Counsel, Outside Council, Finance, Risk Management, Firm Taxes, Controllership, Credits and Incentives, and Global Procurement.

Guiding and advising local business leaders on their role in a real estate project - what change they can affect - and what decisions are made by firm leaders. Being a champion of change, representing and supporting the latest workplace strategy initiatives. For innovation projects, continually challenging leaders to ensure that the innovation and cutting-edge requirements needed align with budget and schedule.

Participating in workplace strategy development and assisting in the capital budget planning process to ensure that medium- and long-term budgets align with location needs. For innovative spaces, supporting the budget and forecasting process so that accurate and achievable plans and forecasts align with business' strategic objectives including the need to continually offer the latest innovations.

Delivering complex capital projects on schedule and on budget.

Supporting the business in protecting, growing, and optimizing the assets of the Firm by always having an eye toward re-use and sustainability were possible.

Ensure team members are recognized for the expertise they bring to the project and that all team members have a clear voice on the projects and an opportunity to grow and expand their knowledge and understanding.

Continuously supporting efforts to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness by contributing best practices as well as collaborating with peers to ensure alignment to Talent goals including DEI, Well-being, and L&D.

The successful candidate will possess:

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or other related degree

10+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in a professional services firm

7+ years of experience leading, managing and supervising complex, geographically diverse teams with responsibility for defining work activities, balancing priorities and achieving ever changing strategic objectives

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,900 to $241,000
