Lead complex initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as key participant in large scale planning for Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management functional area
Review and research complex, multifaceted, large scale, and long term business challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring exceptional understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with highly structured loan transactions
Experience in asset managing commercial bank balance sheet loans, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS)
Communication skills that include experience presenting to varying levels of management
Ability to multi-task, achieve tight timeframes, and stay organized in fast-paced, complex environment while functioning both independently and as part of a team
Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
Knowledge and understanding of credit and income producing real estate
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Ability to read and understand complex commercial real estate loan or real estate investment documentation
A BS/BA degree or higher in business, finance, accounting, real estate or a related field
Job Expectations:
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Ability to travel as needed including overnight trips
Pay Range:
New York, New York: $138,500 - $287,600 USD Annually
