DescriptionWe are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our AI Security team, which builds security tooling and paved path solutions to ensure Generative AI (GenAI) based experiences developed by Amazon uphold our high security standards to protect customer data and trust.You will contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, documentation, testing and operations of state-of-the-art solutions to secure GenAI models and products at Amazon scale. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to work in ambiguous and constantly evolving environment
Strong personal interest in developing, researching, and creating new technologies with high customer impact

The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
