Develop software to scale the production network. Work with networking devices and protocols. Integrate with other systems and evaluate third party solutions. Collaborate with Network Engineering team to automate various processes, build software infrastructure for network monitoring and analysis, and aid in capacity planning and architecture change analysis. Design and implement how to build, model, analyze, and monitor current networks. Work on spanning data center networking architecture (e.g., OpenFlow or similar technologies for software defined networking) and software systems to configure, monitor, analyze, model, and manage our datacenter, backbone, and content delivery networks.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis, in the following: 1. Network devices (routers, switches, or load balancers) and routing protocols
C/C and Python
Systems programming, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SPDY, DNS, and load balancers
MySQL databases
Linux operating system
and 6. Debugging issues within custom code.
