We celebrate science, welcome curiosity, expect collaboration and demand integrity and respect in all we do, create and deliver.The Sr. Manager/ Associate Director, Commercial Human Resources will be a key partner to Pharmaceutical Sales leadership in building and executing the organization’s people strategy and performance initiatives, partner in hiring exceptional talent, implementing HR programs, and coaching managers at all levels. This role will partner on all HR activities for our Field Sales Team including, but not limited to, employee relations, onboarding, talent acquisition & selection, offboarding, career planning, and industrial relations. The Sr. Manager/Associate Director, Commercial Human Resources will understand the business strategy in our sales team to build and implement people strategies and tactics to support the business plans of both short-term and long-term strategic objectives. This position will play a critical role in fostering an inclusive and positive work culture that supports our company's mission and values.Job Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic partner to the sales team developing HR strategies, needs and gap assessments and provide HR solutions to needs proactively.

Coordinate and implement HR strategies to meet organizational and business needs of sales leadership teams that report into the Executive Director and Vice President, Sales.

Manage and ensure the effective delivery of all HR programs and services for assigned client groups and continuously improve on outcomes related including client satisfaction and HR effectiveness.

Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders from the sales team as well as home office departments to ensure all elements related to HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs including relationship management, strategic partnership, and service delivery commitments.

Be the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to the business and help manage the collective reputation of the HR organization.

Partner with managers/employees to facilitate positive interactions and effective outcomes for matters including performance coaching and communications.

Drive people manager development to create clarity and consistency of expectations, accountability, managerial courage in crucial conversations, and enriched manager/employee experiences.

Manage the performance management process for the sales team by effectively partnering with managers and sales leaders by providing guidance in developing team members.

Collaborate with the Manager, Commercial Human Resources and Director, Commercial Human Resources to effectively execute the year-end performance management process from the beginning of the process through calibration to the completion of the year-end process.

Partner with people managers to prepare appropriate progressive correction action.

Manage and collaborate with Compliance, Human Resources, and Sales Leadership to conduct workplace investigations related to performance, policy violations, behavioral issues, and compliance related matters.

Lead and execute the full life cycle of Employee Relations Investigations including a development of an investigation plan, conducting interview(s), compiling documentation and notes, formulating finding(s), conclusion(s) and recommendation(s). Partner with Compliance, the Outcomes Committee, and/or outside counsel as needed.

Provide expert advice, coaching, and assistance to management to address an array of employee conduct, performance issues, and grievances with fluctuating levels of complexity while keeping relevant stakeholders informed of the status, recommendations, and diagnosis of trends that may need attention.

Partner with managers on drafting performance management documentation as well as participate in progressive corrective action and performance management to ensure clarity of message delivered to employee.

Contribute to ER best practice education and policy development and provide counsel and guidance to manager and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices.

Participates in selection, training, and coaching of staff and creating a work environment that builds and retains talent.

Partner with leaders to develop and implement people engagement strategies and support the delivery of ongoing programs and projects in particular DEI and career development & engagement.

Coach business leaders on HR practices to enhance talent pipeline development and retention; increase organizational effectiveness and foster a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; SHRM-CP/SHRM SCP, HRBP or PHR certification highly preferred. Advanced degree a plus

Must have 8+ years of progressive relevant experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Business Partner capacity and must have 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biologic, and/or medical device industry.

Must have 1+ years of experience in Human Resources supporting a commercial and/or sales team.

Must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience performing the full life cycle of Employee Relations.

Must have thorough understanding of State and Federal employment laws and practices.

Must have strong interpersonal skills, conflict management/resolution skills, demonstrated success working with and coaching multiple levels of the organization, and the ability to manage a steady volume of Employee Relation cases.

Demonstrates strength in learning agility and the ability to manage ambiguity.

In depth knowledge of compliance regulations and standards affecting the business.

Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.

Effective communicator in both verbal and written skills, seeking first to understand then to be understood. Ability to tailor communications to varying audiences appropriately.

Excellent project management and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Positive attitude, flexible and proactive.

Significant breadth of understanding of functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business.

Must be a self-starter with commitment to transparency and problem solving in a complex and demanding environment

Strong Microsoft Office 365 applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Preferred working knowledge in ADP Workforce Now and or other HR technology systems.
