DescriptionStart Date: May 2025 Citizens Bank is seeking Summer Analysts to join the Sales & Trading and Equity Research teams in New York, NY. Summer Analysts will have the unique opportunity to rotate between the Sales & Trading and Equity Research teams within one of the largest regional banks in the country. Over the course of the 10-week internship program, Summer Analysts will work closely with the teams’ junior and senior professionals to gain significant industry exposure and business insights. Summer Analysts will split their time between the Sales & Trading team and the Equity Research team, transitioning halfway through the summer program. At the conclusion of the 10-week internship program, high-performing Summer Analysts will be considered for a potential offer for direct employment with the Equity Sales & Trading and/or Equity Research teams (post-graduation). Job Responsibilities Key tasks & responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Equity Sales & Trading

Develop basic understanding of equity sales and trading from the trading desk.

Coordinate various processes involved in financing and creation of maintenance of trading-related reports and presentations.

Participate in all facets of trading activities, including private and public offerings across a variety of industry groups; specific focus on supporting corporate brokerage services, including share repurchase programs and at-the-market (“ATM”) offerings.

Financial Analysis.

Client and stakeholder interaction and communication.

Observe/attend daily morning call.

Equity Research

Develop basic understanding of equity research.

Monitor and analyze daily news and events; build industry knowledge.

Assist with monthly reporting.

Work closely with Research Associates and Analysts to maintain files, database and contacts; ensure files are organized and accurate.

Financial Analysis.

Client and stakeholder interaction and communication.

Observe/attend daily morning call.

Qualifications

Current students enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor’s program, graduating between Winter 2025 – Spring 2026 OR current students enrolled in a graduate program, graduating between Winter 2025 – Spring 2026

Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5

Please include your cumulative GPA on your resume.

Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred but all majors will be considered.

Strong analytical skills and software skills: MS Office application proficiency is required, strong emphasis on MS Excel skills; Bloomberg experience a plus.

Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $29 - $30 per hour.

Since this a temporary position, you are not eligible to participate in the Citizens colleague benefits program. Accordingly, you will not be eligible to participate in the Citizens health and welfare plans, savings and investment plans, or discretionary award plans or any other Citizens benefit plans or programs, except as otherwise required by law.
