Description We are seeking a Systems Administrator based in New York, New York, for an exciting opportunity. Your role will involve managing server systems, contributing to server maintenance, and implementing new technologies to optimize our operations. You'll also be expected to stay updated with advancements in technology and play a crucial role in enhancing our IT product and service development. Responsibilities: Oversee daily server system operations, including reviewing application logs and verifying the completion of automated tasks. Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts to boost automation processes. Handle the installation and configuration of hardware, server operating systems, and supporting applications. Participate in the maintenance of various servers within the active directory domain environment. Generate detailed documentation of system configurations for future reference. Contribute to planning and managing IT product and service development. Stay abreast of the latest developments in new technologies and platforms. Implement and monitor the integration of new technologies into server systems as per requirements. Assist in formulating IS policies, procedures, and performance management processes and measures. Administer and troubleshoot the organization's security solutions, including updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring proper defenses are in place for each infrastructure resource. Assist in resolving and documenting any issues related to audits. Requirements Proficiency in Cisco Technologies Knowledge of Citrix Technologies Understanding of Cloud Technologies Experience with Database management Familiarity with Dell Technologies Skills in AB Testing Proficiency in Active Directory Experience with Backup Technologies Knowledge in Cluster Analysis Understanding of Computer Hardware Skills in PowerShell programming Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Understanding of IT security best practices A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Relevant detail oriented certifications will be considered a plus.
