Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques. Research new financial products or analytics to determine their usefulness. Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope. Collaborate with product development teams to research, model, validate, or implement quantitative structured solutions for new or expanded markets. Develop solutions to help clients hedge carbon exposure or risk. Formulate investment strategies, and monitor and review portfolio performance. Implement asset allocation strategies and ensure realization of defined performance targets. Perform financial analyses on a broad range of topics, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and implementation best practices. Engage with Family Offices to understand their unique circumstances, investment objectives, constraints, and apply portfolio and risk analytics to support investment decisions and portfolio outcomes. Support business development efforts through RFP responses and creation of presentation material and new business pitches. Attend client meetings with lead account managers to provide portfolio advice, analysis, and reviews. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the full suite of solutions offered by Multi-Asset team, and the products managed by other investment areas within BlackRock. Develop knowledge of the broader themes, trends, and competitive landscape within the US Family Office universe.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and Six (6) years of experience as a Portfolio Management Associate, Consultant, Equity Research Analyst, or a related role. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience as a Portfolio Management Associate, Consultant, Equity Research Analyst, or a related role. Six (6) years of experience with: creating and interpreting analytics for financial data and providing context around data to internal and external stakeholders; collecting financial data using quantitative tools, including MS Excel and FactSet; interpreting financial data and coordinating research projects to help drive investment decision making; generating topics for financial and investment research and formulating results into actionable insights for client portfolios; assisting in investment decision making by participating in investment committees and decision-making forums, and contributing to the output of those forums; analyzing portfolios and securities and conducting risk and stress scenario assessments to help make buy, hold, and sell recommendations; and continuously tracking global macro events and analyzing value across asset classes to identify investment opportunities and monitoring performance.
