Assistant Kitchen Manager

New Managment searching for talented and capable Assistant Kitchen Manager. Organizational and leadership skills are a must. Bilingual (English and Spanish). Valid NYC driver's license. Health Department food handling certificate preferred. Willing to follow directions. No experience needed, we'll train you the Rainhas Way.

Job Requirements

- Attention to Detail: Assistant Kitchen manager has to keep their eyes on a lot of elements: food standards, costs, safety, organization.

- Leadership: The Assistant Kitchen manager must be a leader in the back of house, rallying their team during busy shifts, solving conflicts and getting the job done.

- Driver's License: Valid NYC driver's license required.

- Management Skills: The Assistant Kitchen manager not only deals with food, also has to deal with costs, pricing and menu.

- Organizational Skills: Keeping work schedules, ordering and receiving supplies, cleaning and maintenance schedules, prep schedules.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Dealing with employee conflict, wrong supplies orders.

- Communication Skills: The Assistant Kitchen manager needs to accurately and easily communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, give directions and speak with vendors clearly. Bilingual (Spanish and English).
