Job Title: Full-Time Assistant Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee Front of House (FOH) operations and event coordination. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless daily operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a positive team environment. The Assistant Manager will act as the primary point of contact for staff and guests during MOD shifts, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
FOH Operations Management:
o Lead and support FOH staff during shifts, ensuring high levels of performance and teamwork.
o Monitor guest interactions to guarantee exceptional service and address any issues promptly.
o Oversee table management, reservations, and seating to optimize the guest experience and operational flow.
Event Coordination:
o Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and execute private events, ensuring all details are managed seamlessly.
Staff Development:
o Train, mentor, and motivate Host staff to uphold service standards and operational protocols.
Administrative Duties:
o Complete and review daily paperwork, including cash handling, inventory updates, and staff scheduling.
o Utilize platforms like Toast and Sevenrooms for operational and event management.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
o Address and resolve guest concerns, staff conflicts, and operational challenges in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
2+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management. OR passion to learn
Proficiency with Toast, Sevenrooms, or similar restaurant management software.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Event planning and coordination experience is highly desirable.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
