Baker’s Assistant – Eileen’s Special Cheesecake (SoHo)
Eileen’s Special Cheesecake is seeking a Baker’s Assistant to with prep/line cook experience to join our iconic NYC bakery.
Job Duties:
Prep and produce baked goods (mixing, measuring, unmolding, etc.)
Keep kitchen clean (equipment, dishes, sanitizing, sweeping/mopping)
Assist fulfilling orders
Help with inventory
Follow all safety/sanitation rules
Able to lift, stand, bend, and work in a busy kitchen environment
Requirements:
1+ year bakery or food-service experience
Willingness to learn, reliable, and team-oriented
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long periods.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Available for morning shifts 7am-3pm, weekends and holidays are a must
Spanish speaking a big plus!
