Office Associate – Event Catering & Operations

We are a premier Brooklyn-based catering company seeking a sharp, organized Office Associate to join our team.
Please Note: We are an Event Catering Company, not a restaurant. This role focuses on the planning, logistics, and execution of private events and off-site functions.
The Role
As our Office Associate, you will be the "glue" that holds our events together. You will handle everything from the initial client inquiry to the final invoice, ensuring our kitchen and service teams have exactly what they need to succeed in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Client Coordination: Handle inquiries via phone/email and assist in creating customized event proposals and menus.
Administrative Support: Manage event calendars, process payments, and maintain accurate digital records and contracts.
Operational Logistics: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for deliveries; assist the Catering Manager with staff scheduling.
Office Maintenance: Keep inventory of catering equipment and supplies to ensure we are always "event-ready."
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of administrative or office experience. (Catering or Event Planning experience is a major plus!)
Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office. Strong multitasking skills are essential.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Mindset: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Flexibility: Ability to work a schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends based on the event season.
Compensation & Perks
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience).
