Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, possess excellent supervisory skills, and ensure top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities

- Maintain food quality up to standards

- Train and mentor kitchen staff on best practices

- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout all storage areas including the fridges, freezer and dry storage areas.

- Supervise kitchen operations to maintain cleanliness and organization

- Oversee inventory control and ordering of supplies

- Understand stock-control and keep costs to a minimum

- Communicate with suppliers/vendors on short shipments and goods not received in proper order and arrange for credit notes

- Ensuring proper FIFO/DOH Protocol throughout kitchen spaces

- Like getting your hands dirty, wherever, whenever, because you will

- Be an excellent communicator and leader

- Always keep cool under pressure

- You must be eligible to work in the US to be considered for this role

Skills:

- Proven experience in kitchen management within the hospitality industry

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

- Ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively

- Proficient in inventory control and ordering procedures

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
