Cocktail Bar in Park Slope, Brooklyn with AMAZING food - Seeking Professional and Experienced Lead Line Cook
We have opened a beautiful Cocktail Bar with a compact open kitchen where we produce an elevated small-entree sized plates menu to pair with our inventive cocktails and wine list.
We are seeking a strong line cook used to working on high-demand shifts. We expect to be very busy and the menu will span from small pre-prepared items requiring delicate plating to using a combi oven and induction cooktops for cooking and finishing. All of the equipment is brand new and state-of-the art.
The following is highly desirable:
-Experience using several methods of cooking in a high-demand environment
-Bilingual English-Spanish
-Excellent multi-tasking skills
-Experience with stores and inventory
-Ability to place vendor orders efficiently and maintaining a basic budget
-Ability to communicate effectively via email or other methods (i.e., text, slack)
-Dependable availability for full time evenings between Mon-Sun (Weekend availability absolutely required)
-Occasional creation of specials, seasonal items
