Manhattan Supermarket in Financial District is currently seeking a Head Cook for Deli Department
We are looking for 2 position to fill in our team. The requirements/task are as followed for each position:
Head Cook
- 3+ years of experience working in the supermarket type deli station
- 2+ years of experience cooking in kitchen
- Leadership skills/Guidance to team
- Ability to arrange meats/prepared food/cooked food in a presentable form
- Knowledge of supermarket Deli station of cold cuts and cold foods
- Able to make and cook sandwiches, prepared food, create new ideas
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients on accessible shelves
- Help and assist customers orders, needs and issues
- Have a positive work attitude in a fast pace environment
- Willing to learn and adapt to any pace, department and/or environment
- Ability to multitask and have urgency
We are also looking for a deli associate that help with the cold cut deli department. The requirements are as followed:
- 1+ years experience in supermarket deli department
- Knowledge of cold cuts and cold foods
- Able to make sandwiches and other deli items/food
- Knowledge of labeling, sorting, stocking and presenting food
- Help and assist customers orders, needs and issues
- Have a positive work attitude in a fast pace environment
- Ability to multitask and have urgency
- Flexible work schedule
