Human Resource Specialist

Oversee payroll activities and implement on-time and accuracy of payments to NBKNY employees in accordance with the bank’s policies and payroll standard operating procedures. In addition, provide efficient services to existing and new staff members by following up, updating and maintaining information and records pertaining to employees, new hires, probation/confirmation, employee overtime as and when necessary, in order to facilitate effective and high-quality employee and personnel services.

Responsibilities:

Payroll

 Responsible for Payroll administration ensuring compliance with relevant laws and tax obligations.

 Develop systems to process payroll transactions, coordinate timekeeping systems, oversee payroll changes and system upgrades in alignment with bank’s policies and procedures.

 Liaise with auditors for payroll tax audits, collaborate with HR and accounting teams, maintain accurate records, and resolve payroll-related issues.

 Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems and oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades.

 Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports

Onboarding

 Coordinates proactively with various functional areas on their Manpower requirements to have a proper manpower requisition process.

 Prepare offers & contracts for candidates.

 Responsible for the recruitment process of approved candidates such as calling candidates for an offer, employment application, background check, drug test, references.

 Apply adequate onboarding process and maintain new employee experience.

 Opening new recruits profile on ADP and provide required support for seamless onboarding.

 Follow up on new recruit’s orientation probation period appraisal and monitoring of benefits enrollment.

 Maintain and update HR policies and work procedures.

 Follow up and maintain records pertaining to employee’s records.

 Prepares periodic reports for department's manpower update.

 Ensures that candidate applications are recorded and filed appropriately for the purpose of quickly reverting to the documents as and when needed.

 Check the post recruitment procedures for new recruits such as Access ID request, declarations, and compliance trainings are completed to ensure successful completion of recruitment formalities.

Qualification and Experience:

 Graduate Degree

 5 years relevant payroll and HR experience

 Good computer skills and excellent use of the complete MS Office suite Ability

 General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
