Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Air Export Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Air Export Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the air export process to ensure the timely and secure movement of goods for our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of international shipping regulations, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the entire air export process, from booking to delivery, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
Prepare and complete accurate export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and any required permits or licenses.
Communicate with carriers, customs agents, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient cargo movement.
Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process.
Stay informed about changes in customs regulations, trade laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and provide proactive solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, providing shipment status updates, and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the company's operating system for proper tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with the sales team to support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the air export business.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the air export department.
Qualifications:
Cargowise Experience
3+ Years of Forwarding Experience.
Proven experience as an Air Export Specialist in the freight forwarding industry.
In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations, INCO terms, and export documentation requirements.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with customs clearance processes and customs brokerage is a plus.
