Organizational Tutors (OT) is one of the premier Executive Function Tutoring organizations in the United States. Based in NYC, OT provides specialized and individualized tutoring and coaching to strengthen students’ executive functioning capacities, effectively manage complex neuropsychological profiles, and overcome social/emotional obstacles to learning. OT has grown exponentially over the past decade due to the dedication and efforts of its tight-knit team.
OT is looking for highly-organized, extremely fastidious, and efficient individuals for two open roles: Data Entry Specialist and Data Entry Assistant. Both positions are fully remote and highly flexible regarding work schedule provided that the candidate commits to spreading their work hours out across the week. Eligible candidates must be willing to commit to this position for at least one year. Interest and/or experience in psychology and education is a plus.
–– Data Entry Specialist ––
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role involve leading the next step in the future of our data systems and conversations surrounding analysis of company metrics, along with data entry and data analysis related to our matchmaking process, client services, and marketing efforts.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Entering tutor and client data into proprietary matching and billing systems
Tracking and reporting data related to client conversion and retention on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Compiling and analyzing data related to tutor caseloads and referral sources
Quality checking current data for errors and performing routine quarterly maintenance of client and tutor data for accuracy
Providing recommendations for improving the efficiency and accuracy of data systems
Analyzing company metrics, trends, and providing recommendations
Assisting with monthly client billing, supporting tutors and clients, and providing troubleshooting and customer support
Updating and maintaining audience lists and tags in Mailchimp and tracking Mailchimp metrics
Completing other ancillary administrative tasks related to the above objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required; ideal candidate has or is currently pursuing a graduate degree utilizing or in the field of quantitative research, statistics, computer science or related specialty.
Coursework involving statistical/data analysis or comparable certification required.
Must have advanced level comfort with Excel: charts, pivot tables, graphs, etc. Experience with Google Workspace, databases, Mailchimp, and Zoom also required.

Compensation:
This is an hourly independent contractor position with an expectation of approximately 15-20 hours of work weekly with opportunity for growth. Compensation is $25 per hour commensurate with experience.
–– Data Entry Assistant ––
Responsibilities:
Tasks include but are not limited to -
Enter company data accurately and thoroughly into company proprietary database, Excel spreadsheets, MailChimp, and CRM platform
Scan current data for errors and perform routine quarterly maintenance of client, referral source, and tutor data
Protect sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate has or is currently pursuing a graduate degree utilizing or in the field of quantitative research, statistics, computer science or related specialty
Prior data entry experience and demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy
Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively independently, and proactively ask questions
Experience using Google Workspace and Mailchimp; CRM experience preferred
Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, conscientiousness, trustworthiness, and follow through
Compensation:
This is an hourly independent contractor position with an expectation of approximately 8 to 10 hours of work weekly with opportunity for growth. Compensation is $20 - $25 per hour commensurate with experience.
