Location: New York City, Midtown West

Summary:

We are a small attorney search firm based in NYC that seeks a strong operations and administrative

support professional who is very comfortable with technology. This individual will be an integral part of

our company and will work very closely with our small team of lawyers-turned-recruiters in a highly

collegial and collaborative environment. This individual will report to the President of the company who

also handles operations and works as a recruiter alongside our other recruiters.

Duties:

- Using our two subscription recruiting software services on a daily basis

- Troubleshooting computer issues regularly

- Updating/supplementing our database (one of our subscription recruiting software services) and

our other online resources with respect to – among other things – attorneys (e.g.,

entering/revising attorney profiles in our database from LinkedIn and other sources), client law

firms and in-house law departments, attorney job searches, and related information

- Putting application submissions through our clients’ online portal systems

- Formatting resumes and revising other submission materials

- Conducting online research projects

- Preparing and following up on invoices

- Assisting with payroll

- Assisting with bookkeeping

- Handling holiday e-card send-outs

- Proofreading

- Answering phone and routing calls (minimal amount of time)

- Other duties, as assigned

Required Concrete Skills:

- Excellent IT abilities, including with respect to troubleshooting computer issues

- Excellent command of Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Excel

- Good typist

Desired Concrete Skills:

- Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus

Required Education and Preferred Experience:

- B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent degree) from an accredited college or university

- Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional services firm

Compensation and Benefits; and In-Office Requirement and Hours:

- Estimated target base salary: $70,000-80,000, depending upon skills and experience, with bonus

potential

- Subsidized health care (Oxford/United Healthcare)

- Ability to WFH most days after job familiarity is obtained

- Hours of 10am-6pm M-F is ideal, but some schedule flexibility is available
