Small business CEO on the Upper West Side seeking an in-person part-time personal assistant (6-10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling) who can provide support with home tasks, appointments, dog care/transport for a senior french bulldog, and more. Due to the access you will be given to personal affairs, a background check will be run prior to starting employment. Please also be comfortable with the fact that I am a gay man all backgrounds/belief systems will be respected, but please respect mine. This is not a remote position, and the vast majority of tasks will require in-person work on the Upper West Side near the 1/2/3 trains at 96th Street.
Types of work/projects include:
HOME/PERSONAL ADMIN
-Mail handling/sorting/follow-ups
-Tidying up and helping with general home upkeep
-Coordination of dry cleaning
-In-home laundry on occasion (washer/dryer in unit)
-Plant care (serious expertise not expected)
-Occasional meeting of contractors/service providers in my absence
-Making and coordinating logistics for appointments (Note: I have a full-time executive assistant in my business who will assist with schedule coordination during my workday.)
DOG CARE
(10 year old 25-lb French Bulldog, very short/minimal walks must be able to lift/carry, including in a heavy-duty handbag on the train)
-Dog walking
-Occasional transport to vet visits
-Occasional transport to/from office in midtown to home
-Occasional dog baths
Note: Occasional in-home overnight dog-sitting is possible if interested, and paid on a nightly rate.
