We are a retail business in Midtown East, Manhattan. We have been in business for over 50 years and are in need of a Shipping Assistant to help us with our continued growth.
This position would start part-time, 15-20 hours per week, with potential to become a full-time role in the future.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Efficiently wrapping, packing, labeling and preparing shipments
- Picking products for orders accurately
- Teachable and willing to learn
- Ensure all products are stocked, labeled and placed correctly
- Check inventory levels
- Inspect items for quality/damages and handle returned items
- Receiving, restocking of items
- Positive/Friendly attitude with a strong work ethic
