WORLD'S BEST CHEESES is one of America's leading importers. We distribute over 4,000 gourmet items to 2,500+ specialty stores. Our HQ is in Armonk, NY. From that location our fleet of 20 trucks delivers from Maine to Virginia. Our west coast operation in Alameda, CA services that region.
Over the last several years our business has tripled in volume. We offer a number of unique services. We represent some of the BEST CHEESE makers in the WORLD. We have an import AIR PROGRAM that supplies great fresh products, etc. etc In order to manage all this business our warehouse has expanded. In addition to the larger space, we now have a need to work longer hours. Thus this ad for an Assistant Evening Warehouse Manager. The job is "hand-on" and not a "desk job." Duties include:
Managing a crew of approximately 25 employees
Overseeing stock rotation
Order Production (selecting and checking)
Control of truck routing
Problem solving
The job pays a competitive salary and includes a full range of benefits. Most of the year there is a 4 day work week. Monday to Thursday. (Exact details to be discussed during the interview).
