Beer Table Penn Station is looking for an assistant manager to assist in running our brand new location. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, eager-to-learn and incredibly personable. We are a scrappy bunch and always willing to go the extra mile; we are looking for someone that shares those same qualities. Beer and/or coffee knowledge is not required but a strong interest in craft beverages (beer, wine, coffee, cocktails, etc.) and food is a plus. Experience in a fast paced retail environment is expected. Simply put, if you are a hard worker with prior retail experience and a friendly disposition, we can fill in the blanks when it comes to product knowledge.

Assistant Store Manager
Compensation:
$60,000 salary plus health/dental/vision insurance and travel expenses covered
Time Commitment:
40-50 hours per week. Schedule for the first 6 months will include 2 opening shifts, 2 closing shifts and 1 weekend shift per week.

- Ability to help meet and exceed retail sales goals
- Experience with ordering and forecasting
- Both gives and receives direction well
- Self-motivated and always adding to their own to-do list
- Incredibly detail-oriented, with elevated organizational instincts and hyper-focus on perfect presentation
- Ability to multi-task
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping to maintain and expand customer relationships. We love our regulars and they love us!
- Immediately capable of opening and closing the shop independently
- Maintain and organize inventory on sales floor and stock room
- Communicate shop needs to upper management on a daily basis to ensure proper stock at all times
- Delegate daily tasks to hourly employees
