A fantastic new high volume wine and spirits store is seeking an outgoing and knowledgeable Spirits Buyer to build and maintain a high volume program across well known and hard to find brands.
Joes Wine Co is located in the heart of the East Village just off Union Square on 3rd Avenue and 14th Street.
This role will be heavily customer facing while assisting day to day operations, customer interactions, wine and spirits sales and product education programming for both staff and general consumers.
Necessary experience in the following includes:
- Prior experience purchasing spirits for high volume retail store or bar/restaurant.
- Knowledge of wholesaler suppliers and spirits portfolios
- Knowledge across the branding and marketing spirits.
- High level customer service and hospitality experience.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Microsoft excel, word, power point
Experience with Square POS a plus
