Fundraise for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center!
NEEDED – Compassionate advocates for cancer research and patient care to join our phone fundraising team supporting Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. We're seeking articulate, professional, and enthusiastic callers to help raise vital funds for one of the world's leading cancer centers.
Please note: This position is with DCM,a professional fundraising firm, hired by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. You would not be working directly for MSK, but rather calling donors on their behalf to support their life-saving mission.
Make a real difference in the fight against cancer while building valuable fundraising skills. Previous advocacy fundraising experience is a plus – but we will train the right match!
JOB PROFILE:
A minimum of 16 hours per week (4 full shifts) within the following shifts: Mon-thur 5pm-9pm EST, Fri 12pm-4pm EST, Sat 10am-2pm EST. 20 hours MAX per week.
$14/hr plus commission $16.50 Minimum Guarantee
Mandatory paid training 11/21 or 11/25
No cold calling and no canvassing!
Entirely remote/work from home
Flexible schedule you choose your shifts each week!
REQUIREMENTS:
successful fundraising background; an ability to close donations
computer savvy with proficiency on multiple softwares/platforms
an ability to follow directions and convincingly read from a script
high-quality customer service attitude
must have computer or laptop with headset or headphones and good internet connection
persistent, diligent work ethic; self-motivated while being a team player
