Description We're seeking a talented consultant to join our team for a short-term project focused on establishing a data warehouse for a government organization. This is a remote opportunity.Project Overview:This organization is facing the challenge of integrating and standardizing data from various sources. They need a robust data warehouse to facilitate information sharing, inform decision-making, and enable effective data analysis.Key Responsibilities:
Participate in a virtual seminar with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
Analyze current data landscape and identify potential challenges and opportunities.
Advise on the optimal data warehouse architecture and technology stack.
Develop a high-level data model and propose strategies for data integration and transformation.
Provide clear and concise recommendations for data governance and security practices.
Collaborate with the commission and project team to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
4+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, technologies, and best practices.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
