This position will be to support Construction Management services for the Delta Airfield Reconfiguration program at LaGuardia Airport. Responsibilities Reviewing Fire Protection including Fire Alarm and Plumbing design documents for public transportation facilities for compliance with applicable construction codes and technical standards. Analyze and review drawings, specifications, reports, and studies for compliance with codes and standards. Provide inspection oversight of Tenant/contractor construction. Report writing for daily progress. Evaluate issues and attend meetings with Port Authority Resident Engineer's Office and Tenant/contractor personnel to discuss the review comments and resolving issues. Requirements Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with fire protection/fire alarm and plumbing system engineering. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. NICET I, II Certified (6-12 mo. to complete). OSHA 10 or 30 required.
