Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Responsibilities Conducts reviews and verifications of construction schedules, baseline, and updates, in coordination with the client. Coordinate work with various airport departments. Perform construction inspection tasks including: Assessing adherence to contract documents Quality assurance procedures for Structural steel Concrete Masonry Fireproofing Fire Stopping Foundations Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is preferred. Minimum of 15 years construction inspection experience with airport experience preferred. Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes. Active certifications for OSHA 30 ICC Structural Welding Special Inspector ICC Steel & Botling Special Inspector ICC Masonry Special Inspector ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Candidates must also have their own vehicle and have a valid driver's license. Candidates will receive mileage reimbursement for duty-related driving.
