If you meet the key qualifications and you are self-driven, enthusiastic, highly-motivated, and you want to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you!DescriptionIn this role, you will design and develop scalable, performant, resilient distributed systems and software to support our products at Wallet, Payments & Commerce. As an engineer in this role, you will gather and analyze software development requirements, design and develop software, ensure quality contributing towards unit tests and performing code reviews. In addition, you will support production deployments, product launches, and help troubleshoot and fix production issues. Our products are delivered in a collaborative manner with cross-functional teams and partners which is key to our Apple culture and values. You will be an enthusiastic participant in engineering discussions, design reviews and work through the software development process as a team. You will work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to bring to life awesome products that our customers love!Minimum Qualifications

Strong Computer Science fundamentals

Knowledge of server-side programming language Java

Understanding of client-server development and API design, implementation

Key QualificationsPreferred Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field and/or equivalent practical

At least 1+ years experience in software development

Understanding of production quality software development process and practices

Experience/understanding of security and cryptography

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,909 and $214,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
