ResponsibilitiesDescription of Major Duties:Acts as a single point of contact for all incoming telephone communications for the Flaum Eye Institute.Overall job description:75% Answers inbound phone calls received on a private medical practice’s main phone line. Schedule patients for appointments to see comprehensive and sub-specialty doctors and redirect phone calls requiring transfer for additional assistance.20% Schedule Outside Doctor’s Referrals for Flaum Eye Institute generated by our eRecords system.5% During ACD down-time, assembles new patient information packets for upcoming appointments, and prepares necessary paperwork for mailing to patients prior to their appointment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School education and 1-2 years hospital and/or receptionist/switchboard/customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
