Your ability to take initiative while always assisting and maintaining patient care will be critical in the success of the entire team.STATUS: Full-Time / Part-TimeLOCATION:Park Ridge Living Cente (1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626)DEPARTMENT: Long Term CareSCHEDULE: 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm and 11pm - 7am shifts availableCOMPENSATION: $18.75/hr + (varies based on years of experience)PARK RIDGE LIVING CENTER An extension of Unity Hospital, our short-term rehab center is a 40-bed unit focusing on treatment and rehabilitation following hospitalization. We offer the acute care our patients require for their recovery without being in a hospital setting.ATTRIBUTESRegistered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) requiredCompassionate, patient focused and dependable team playerExceptional documentation skills and professional behaviorAbility to read, write and speak English (following both verbal and written instruction)RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care & Service. Provide and/or assist the resident in activities necessary as per individualized care planning; transport to and from activities as needed; provide leisure activities as needed; perform evaluation and reporting; provide resident and family with emotional supportSafety. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe resident environmentCommunication & Documentation. Support families, direct them to appropriate professional staff; respond to resident requests in a timely manner; receive/give reports to team members/team leadersPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PAY RANGE: $18.75 - $19.95The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
