Generous extra pay for evening, overnight & weekend shifts.Position Summary: The Shahbaz protects, nurtures, and sustains life for elders living in their households by providing exceptional personal care, supporting leisure, maintaining a safe, clean house, and supporting meals and personal laundry needs for those who live in the home. The Shahbaz is a member of a self-directed team in a small home that work together to create a real home reflective of the elders who live there. Qualifications & Education Required:
Valid NYS Driver’s License required
NYS certification for Certified Nursing Assistant
ONE year of experience as a C.N.A. required
Solid work history demonstrating commitment
Relevant experience in food industry or cleaning preferred
Proven ability in coordinating different responsibilities
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Desire to interact with elders and care for their needs
Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John’s Brand Characteristics
Ability to complete orientation requirements (2.5 days of classroom orientation on Mon/Tues/Wed.) + house training
Ability to work weekend shifts
Reliable transportation to Penfield/Fairport area

Physical Requirements/ Exposure to Conditions:
Sits, stands, walks most of the day. Frequent moving and lifting of residents. Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
